Replaced this unit in my truck, it quit working after 8 months. I'll need to replace it again before my speed is limited to 4mph. I'd rather not have these systems on my truck as they have an adverse effect on the mechanical system and have cost me thousands in maintaining over five years. It's nice to have reasonably priced parts to make repairs, but they don't seem to last long.

Bought this and replaced it 2 months ago. Took a 1000 mileage trip then level sensors failed. Stick with OEM parts.

2015 2500 HD with LML/ CP4: drop the DEF tank, disconnect the main harness, clean the top of the DEF tank.Remove the old heater and install this one. Put the tank back in place and clear the code. Has been working for months now with no issues.

Don't waste your time or money on this product, buy O.E.M. from the start. I replaced my DEF heater with this Dorman replacement. It lasted less than 100 miles! This is not the first time that I went with a Dorman product and got burned...NEVER again, I finally learned my lesson. After years of working as an auto tech and using what use to be a good replacement product, it saddens me to see their decline.
