The wires are just barely long enough to work 1 slip up and you have a mess.

Just replaced it yesterday. Install wasnt as bad as some people made it seem. My truck has had a weird idle for a while and recently started surging/stalling when it threw a P2285. Fired right up, code cleared and now it runs better than ever.

Installed it in the vehicle by a mechanic. Waiting to see if it was the issue. No negative or possible comment at this time.

Lasted approximately 1.5 years and blew out at the beginning of our family vacation towing an RV. Had to tow the truck and rent a truck. Dorman sensor cost nearly a thousand dollars. Stick with genuine Ford sensors.

This sensor works in my '04 F250 / 6.0 Diesel. It is a different size (slightly bigger, different wrench size) but screwed in and sealed. BEWARE; disregard the wire colors on the supplied "pigtail." Be SURE you trace each wire from each location on back of plug, same as the original. The wire colors were close, but I found two terminals reversed on the plug they sent me. Final note; NO INSTRUCTIONS came with it!

Failed in first 100 miles and about emptied the engine oil. I use many Dorman products, but this one, as many aftermarket IPC sensors, misses the mark.

Fit my 2003 early 6.0. This sensor comes with the pigtail too. 3 heat shrink crimp splices are already attached too. I ordered the pigtail separately but Amazon did a free return. Replacing this sensor is a real challenge though.
