After 10 months of service the egr exhaust valve failed. Inquired about warranty and received no response. Don’t recommend.

I was able to install this EGR valve a week ago. Several YouTube videos were helpful, and I'm very pleased with the result. My check engine light is no longer on, and the engine is running more smoothly (my wife noticed this, too).

Sometimes you get one that fails within days. Luckily there is 30 day replacment on Amazon. It's worth the hassle. Usually after replacing it twice it works. I've only had 5% of these non oem fail, and its worth the risk compared to the price of Mopar.

Replaced the original EGR valve with the Dorman. The vans error codes cleared and the vehicle returned to normal drive-ability. Two weeks after installing the Dorman EGR the van began stumbling and showed error codes P0400 & P0405 - bad EGR (!) Replaced the Dorman with a Chrysler OEM EGR valve (also via Amazon) and the van has run perfectly for the past 1,000 miles. The Dorman is way cheaper than the OEM but its a false economy for sure. In this case go with the Chrysler OEM part. The original btw lasted 140,000 miles.
