I had installed this a few weeks ago, and now I have an engine code again for evap purge valve! This valve didn't last long at all, or maybe it was defective from the start and my ECU just didn't pick up on it until I drove it a while. Regardless, I ripped my oem one out that lasted 90,000 miles! I should have bought an OEM one, I will spend just as much buying cheap ones and replacing them so often..Dorman use to be a decent brand alternative, but I'm noticing as well as hearing from others that they are going downhill on quality parts. Its a shame.

I bought this part as a replacement part for my 2008 Ford Escape XLT with the 3.0 L V6 engine. I had the P0456 trouble code. It fits on the factory bracket and all the factory hose fit. Looks and operates as the factory one did. Installs in less than 15 minutes. I have no complaints.

Amazon said it would fit the vehicle, note it does NOT fit the Ecoboost engine. Returned. Product looked of good build quality, but can not tell you how it performs.
