code still pops up off and on with a small leak detected. Not sure if its the canistor or the valve. Either way solved part of the issue but not all. The oem part was 5 or 6 times more though

This wS half the price compared to the same one at the auto parts store. This went on my 2016 Nissan Frontier to fix the evap solonoid check engine code. This part finally fixed the problem.

Got this for an 08 Nissan Xterra. Was throwing a P0456 CEL, had a fuel fume smell around filler spout, and gas pump would easily click off long before tank was full. Got this canister with the solenoid purge valve and replaced both at the same time. All problems are gone now. It's a tight space to work when replacing, and if your connections have been on for awhile - good luck! But it can be done, and is definitely DIY vs paying maybe $1000-$2000 for a dealer or shop to do it.

I replaced this on my 2008 Nissan Frontier and it solved my fueling problem. Perfect replacement.Nissan dealer wanted 800 dollars to do the job and I did it in my driveway for less than 200. It took me about one hour. Saved me a lot of money.
