Works great, pretty easy to install used a piece of speaker wire attached to the old cable and pulled it thru the fire wall and attached to the new cable to pull it back into cab. I suggest using a little dish soap to lubricate the first couple inches of cable to get it thru the cable boot.

i electrical taped the new one onto the old one and pulled the old one out while it pulled the new one thru. Easy peazy and cheap to boot.

A good fit for my Toyota Tunda and easy to install by simply following the original one. Since my truck is a 2005 the hood latch was pretty rusted and the springs needed replacing. Springs are included with the new latch and since I had to remove it to get the cable on, I replaced that also I would recommend looking at this and getting the parts at one time.
