This isn’t my first Dorman OE replacement. As a matter of fact when I search there name it is at the top of the list. As for this Dorman cable to replace the OE great quality for the money. And it feels great when I go down to open the hood with a two finger tug on the hood latch!

It said it fit my 2005 Honda Accord LX 2.4L but it was too long and rather than returning it, I just made it work which was a bad decision. Be very sure it fits your car first. Check with the manufacturer. This is likely an Amazon issue, but I haven't checked with Dorman to see. For the right car, it is a great replacement.
