This product gets 5 stars cause it works. But 0 stars cause it’s a ß¡țçħ to install. Not for the faint of heart. No room to hook up end hook. Pay somebody. Would I order again….? I won’t let my door plastic hang anymore

First off, I don't know why a simple cable can cost so much at the dealer. I am so glad this aftermarket cable is available. 2nd Even though this cable is only for the ford f150, It worked perfectly for my 2017 Ford F-250 Superduty truck. I think they should update that on the makes and models this will work with. Fit and worked just like the original.

Don’t know why it says it does not work for the newer super duty’s but worked perfectly on mine after breaking it on the driver side, I’m sure it will work for the passenger front, I don’t know about the rear doors but I’m sure it would also work for those. Not many videos online about replacing these, there’s some diagrams on the ford truck forum on google from the ford tech repair manuals, so I would find those and follow those to the T, it’s not a fun job but very doable in your driveway with some patience.

This is the correct part for my 2018 F-150XLT driver's door. I must say though, that installing this is going to present a real challenge for you.Watch YouTube to learn how to remove your inner door panel. Once you have it off, the fun begins. Be sure to study what it looks like before you remove the old one, because you'll need to install the new one in the reverse order. It took two people to install mine. My two hands plus my neighbor holding a flashlight and using needle nose pliers to pull the tiny tab through the hole while I tried to feed it in.Don't give up, you can get it done, but it's going to take a lot of patience.
