This is the third attempt I have made using Dorman products knock sensors, camshaft sensors and this crankshaft sensor all of them have been poor quality and failed within days. After replacing this sensor due to oil leaking around the old sensors O ring bow my car won’t start the next day. Dorman should cover my many hour of labor to now take my starter motor back off. I’ve never had this kind of issue buying parts from the local parts stores

Arrived on time and exactly what I ordered. Purchased to replace the orginal Crankshaft Position Sensor since the engine has over 200K miles. worked great first time. Not the easiest sensor to replace buy doable in a couple hours. Good Buy

Had sludge build up and the truck wouldn't start. Replaced this and it fired right up like the day it was purchased. Since then I have rebuilt the motor and cleaned all the sludge. Still runs great!

01’ Silerado 1500 LS w/ 5.3L would intermittently crank over but not start. Drove me crazy troubleshooting but I have seemed to fixed the problem by replacing this sensor. Somewhat of a pain in the ass to replace due to it being behind the starter though!

My 2001 Silverado started throwing a code for crankshaft sensor. This was a perfect fit. Started right up. Will update if I have any problems.

The car was diagnosed with having a bad Crankshaft Position Sensor. It had no spark and would not start. Replace it with this part it now starts and runs fine.

Part did exactly what I needed it to do. 2003 GM 5.3L Vin Z engine in a suburban was cutting power to the fuel pump and after several attempts to fix the issue, I finally found info leading me to the crank sensor being a possible solution as the computer will disable the fuel pump upon a bad or incorrect signal from the crank sensor. The only issue with the job is not related to the part but the location of the part which is behind the starter and makes it quite challenging to get to.
