Install this on my 2014 Chevy Cruz 1.4, install a super easy and they worked very well. Literally had zero issues up until today.02/20/2025. Started the car with a very rough idle, scanned the vehicle and a code popped up for the vvt solenoids. Cleared them and they came back, just changed my oil too so not dirty oil being the cause.Reused the old ones with a new gasket as that was the reason I originally replaced the VVT solenoids.Expected these at $80 for the pair to last a lot longer than 8 months, super disappointed that they don’t even come with a LIFETIME WARRANTY

Perfect replacement part by doorman. Buy 2 of them and replace both at the same time. Easy to change out as its just held by 2 bolts. I had oil leaking out of the bottom of the seal and dripping onto the belt. I replaced both of these and it fixed the issue. Just be sure to press the part straight in firmly and not at an angle, bolt it down and re-connect the sensor.

GM has produced no less than 7 iterations of these. Grand statement of incompetence: If you can't get it right the first time it shouldn't take 6 more attempts. Dorman researched the failure cause for these and patented this design. For this part it was worth the gamble to trust them. Why must we choose between offshore garbage replacement parts that were made about a nickel shy of being useful or overpriced OEM erplacements that have already proven themselves destined to fail? I'll update review if these don't hold up to expectations.

My daughter was having some issues with her car just stalling on her. My husband went ahead and looked at many differnt things that could have been wrong with it. He tried buying this part and was very happy to see that it has helped her with the car stalling on her. This has saved her a lot of money and her parents a big headache.
