Exact same size as original. The only difference as far as I can tell is, it doesn’t have the instructions written up the dipstick to check in park warm etc. It does have the cross hatches on the bottom for fluid level.

My original dipstick handle broke off and this is a perfect replacement. I used it for a 2010 Sierra with the 5.3 V8. It will fit any GM car/SUV/Truck with the 6L80 automatic transmission. If you're not sure of your transmission look at the 'RPO' code list on the inside of the glovebox. It should include MYC if you have the 6L80 transmission. Amazon says this doesn't fit my truck but the fit is based on which transmission you have.
