These were used to replace the connection to my vacuum hose going into my steering knuckle for my 4 wheel drive on my 2001 7.3 F250. Exact fit!

The Dorman barb is a perfect fit for a vacuum hose with an inside diameter of 5mm. I initially made the mistake of buying the OEM Ford part (F81Z-4022-BA) from the dealership, the Ford part’s barb has a diameter of 8mm, which is too wide for the stock hose. So, learn from my mistake. The quality is good, I had no problems removing the old barb from the knuckle and replacing it with the Dorman.

The factory vent tube had rusted and was delaminating where the hose covers it and was causing a vacuum leak that kept the hubs from locking from the dash switch. This vent goes into the banjo housing on each from axle near to the ABS sensor. Easy to replace.

Does not fit super duty front axles, like it claims. not even close.
