This item should have been a 10 minute job to crawl under the back of the car and install. Instead it took a couple of hours to finagle it into place. I first twisted and pulled on the arm to get it to even be close to the bolt holes for the hanger portion. Then I had to drill out the mounting holes to allow more leeway in bolt placement. After all that it is installed and works, but when turning the crank it also seems to be very tight.Unfortunately this is the only company where I've found a replacement hoist other than on-line KIA dealerships who indicate it's a special order part. That could mean they're ordering from the same company and having it sent to you upon order.My recommendation would be to order from your local dealer and make sure it's not a part from Dorman when it arrives. The additional money will be well spent when not having to deal with the frustration you'll encounter during installation.

The four mount holes fit fine, but the arm is about an .5" short of where it needs to be for a 2011 Kia Sorento. I tried to bend the arm a bit or adjust but was unable to do so. I could not get the 2 bolts to the tire mount area to line up.
