I'm happy that these fit my explorer, had purchased some from AutoZone going off of what was suggested from their service rep to be a waste of money. These are metal and have stayed put, now I make sure to check after each service to verify that these are put back in properly. I've had two separate situations where the shop must have not put one back in or must have not secured it properly causing it to come off on the road. These were pricey screws but cheaper than replacing the actual guard, which I have had to do already.
