Put on my 1998 Chevy S-10 extended cab 4x4 step side. It was a perfect fit and my dad who was a service manager for over 30 years and owned the truck for 13 years, thought it was only a glass replacement!

The product fit nicely and mounted fine, but as soon as i go over 20 km/h it starts to whistle and air gets through the folding part of the mirrior and creates a very annoying whistling sounds. im assuming this is just a defect and it doesnt happen on all of these. The reason im giving 2 stars is because of this and not the way it mounted and fits. Looks great ans functions but the noise is so bothersome i had to put some electical tape on the mirror to stop the noise as it gets super loud and high pitched on the hwy if i have my window open... the faster the worse sound it makes as the wind blows throught the cracks of the folding part of the mirror and makes a terrible noise.Not to impressed.

This truck does seem like much to others but for someone who has spent the last 45 year building trucks for other, this one's for me. It's a '96 Chevy s10 that cost me all of $600 6 years ago and all it needed was a $53 part. V6 with 5 speed, 4x4 manual transfer case. Put a winch under the front for getting things outta tough spots, Built some custom bumpers, painted it myself, custom trim, stereo system with backup camera bought here on Amazon 4 trucks ago. But that hoop emblem I carved myself.
