I have a 2013 Ford F150 Limited with the dual climate control air conditioning. This resistor was purchased to replace another brand I bought on Amazon which did not work. This unit solved my problem and works flawlessly. I recommend this unit.

I installed it myself. If it wasn’t under the dash it would take 15 minutes! How long it actually takes depends on how agile you are.I think it’s smart to do both parts. My blower works great now.

This is my second time replacing these 2 parts. 2015 expedition, the harness keeps burning and melting the pin. The first time I bought genuine ford motorcracft parts. This time I was frustrated and wanted to save money. These parts work just like the ford dealer parts. My only issue was when I pushed in the plug it didn't have an audible click which indicates the lock clip wasn't fully seated. I had to push harder than normal and I finally got it to click and lock itself. I confirm with another review on here that the recall currently for these vehicles and f150s replaces the blower motor and not these parts. The blower may be pulling too many amps and burning these parts. If you don't get the recall accomplished you may end up like me and replacing these parts more than once. Dorman did well and I'd give 5 stars if the clip wasn't so hard to secure once installed.

I drive a 2013 Limited F-150 with the dual zone auto climate system. Recently I noticed I couldn't turn off the fan nor could I control the speed. The fan stated on with the system turned OFF. It just sort of ran all the time and would vary a little, I'm guessing because of the auto control part of my system.I digress, this was the faulty part and it is a relatively easy fix by dropping the glove box. Three 7mm screws on the under egde of the glove box and then two 8mm bolts hoding the resistor in. Then press the release on the connector and replace... easy.I've read some people have to also replace the wiring harness due to burnt pins. I didn't have any of that so didn't use the harness.System works again, fan speed control is back and it turns off when I turn it off. Good price and includes the wired connector if you need to replace it.
