Did not work as expected, kept air in master cylinder. Plastic part. Replaced with a metal one from auto supply for same price. Could not return it because it had been installed.Be aware of cheap parts that are basically unreturnable because of return shipping cost, and in this case brake fluid residue in packaging.Had to go to internet to find gravity bleed for this application, because it is required for 1999 Ford Ranger. Instruction with master cylinder are erroneous for this application.With clutch safety switch and aviator rod lock in master cylinder, makes removal impossible without damage to the master cylinder.Be aware this is a one time use master cylinder. Gravity bleed entire system.Do not follow instructions included in the box.

This part fitted perfectly into my ford ranger 99 the only drawback was that the base of the reservoir is to long so I was not able to install it I used the old reservoir , I also replace the pedals(clutch and brake) they broke , so I figure i'm already down there why not change the 14 year old clutch master cylinder so I did, very please with my purchase fast shipping and 25% cheaper than the autoparts store. There are some instructions in the box but I suggest you watch a couple of videos on YouTube before you try this repair on your own this is not fot the faint of heart . I did the bleadding of the system outside the car , very easy to do , this repair took me 5 hours total time, I also took the drivers seat so you can have more room to work .
