Leaks from the seal, piston design sucks, and bleed screw is way to small. Do not buy this product

The first shipment was defective. I replaced order through Amazon, and immediately got shipped the replacement. That worked without any issues.

This product took me some time to install in my vehicle one of the worst jobs I've ever had the misfortune of undertaking.Once I finally got this product installed it only lasted for 3 days until a seal blew and it started leaking.Worse yet I also bought a Dorman brand Master Cylinder through Amazon at the same time and it's seals also blew out and stops it from compressing all the way and this also happened within 3 days of installation.So I've experienced a double failure from these products and now that I try and get them replaced, it's past the 30 day return policy so they don't want to replace the faulty parts.-Edit-Amazon did end up honoring a refund of this product although it did take a little back and forth between Amazon and Dorman.Dorman warranty service said they don't deal with replacements/exchanges directly and that I would have to go through the seller (Amazon) to get it honored which they sort of did through a refund instead of an exchange.

Direct replacement and a great part. It appears to be better than the original. Great shipping. Will continue to use the Dorman parts.

I installed this when doing a clutch job on my 328i. It looks to be made of cast iron where the original one was made of aluminum so it is a little heavier. But it works fine, bled easily and has nice smooth action. For the price, it is a great product and I would buy it again.
