The product description doesn't say so, but this clamp can be applied to 1-1/2" pipe. I'm using it to attach a 1" 2m VHF ham radio antenna mast to an existing 1-1/2" vent pipe on my roof. The double clamps made it easy to get good adjustment, using a level, so that the mast is close to perfectlyvertical. I've recommended this clamp set to friends who are installing similar antennas. The threadedrods are M8 size, and about 160mm/6-1/4" long. This is just slightly too short for clamping two 1-1/2"pipes, unless you remove two of the middle nuts to get just a little more reach in the threaded rods.Replace the rods with m8 or 5/16" rods at about 180mm/7" length to get adjustability with two 1-1/2"pipes.

These are great for any scanner, amateur radio, or CB enthusiast out there that want to add an antenna to a tower or clamp to a vent stack. Very strong and durable. I'd have no problem using it to attach any antenna I own. Now -- it might be a little too lightweight for a rotator or yagi on a long pole. But I could see it holding a 20-ft pieces of aluminum tubing just fine. I like it!

Using to hold my 10 meter antenna to the mast and it works great.

Haven't been back on the roof yet this winter but these clamps look plenty solid. They have a fairly fancy feeling coating on them. All the hardware seems good, the nuts run along the bolts nice and smooth, and really given the usual markup on antenna stuff I think this is a pretty good value 👍

They are pretty heavy duty and don't appear to be rusting so far and it has rained quite a bit since I installed them well over a month ago.I'd definitely get another set if I needed them.

These mast clamps are stronger and made of heavier metal than I expected. They are good for a pole to pole connection with light to medium antenna masts. In order to stay strongly connected once they are installed, they really need to have lock washers. Without them, the nuts on the clamps will eventually loosen. If you choose these clamps, be sure to add lock washers. I dropped my star rating to 4 stars because of the missing, but necessary lock washers. Otherwise, I am happy with these mast clamps.

I ordered this and something else so I'd have options when I eventually get up on the roof and mount a new antenna. Since I already have a couple of older things on the roof, I thought a pole-to-pole mount like this could be the easiest solution. These clamps are pretty simple and not expensive.I will update the review if I need to lower the score for any reason. As of now, everything looks great.

This double mast clamp set is pretty good for light to medium antenna projects. They are a little heavier duty than the average consumer clamps you run into. They work really well on small to medium antennas. I wouldn't use these for a large communications antenna though. I do have two small gripes with it. The metal appears to be painted (heavy coat) instead of galvanized. The paint will probably not keep rust away for as long as galvanizing. The other issue is that there are no split ring washers on the nuts. I would recommend adding lock washers to prevent loosing due to heating/cooling and wind effects.
