These are odd little bits. They are magnetic, but only because of a magnetized collar that can be removed and mounted on the opposite side when necessary. I suppose that could be good considering that many so-called magnetized bits are not very powerful. However, the biggest concern for me is the fact that these to not fit in any of my battery powered drivers. The double bit design prevents the bit from securely locking in place, so I guess these are basically designed for manual screwdriver style bit drivers, which in my universe are almost obsolete considering how deeply I am invested in battery powered drills, impact drivers, etc.
