First of all, the screws in the package were too small for the holes on my stereo head, so I fished around for some spare screws in my collection and I was able to find some. After that, I tried to install the head unit into my dash, and I pushed as hard as I could but it still didn’t go all the way in. I’m pretty sure it could have fit if it was just a hair narrower, but as it is it did not.This was on a 2000 Ford Ranger.

Bought a 1998 Ford Ranger & the stereo was laying back in the dash. Former owner didn't know she needed a kit. Looks & holds great now
