There is a gap between the top of the frame and the plastic lid on the vehicle. This gap is around 0.5 inches. As it can be noticed in the picture, the bottom section of the frame fits perfect but not the top.

unfortunately plastic flange is a little sharp and led to a big plastic splinter in hand, you can sand down the bevel and have no issues with this product, it hold the radio in good

i bought this to put in a aftermarket radio in my 2013 honda accord and when it got here it only came with one screw in a sealed bag and also no instructions on how to put it together
