My wife loves using this shepherd’s hook to hang plants and seasonal decorations, swapping them out weekly to keep things fresh. It was simple to assemble, and the sturdy prongs keep it well-secured in the ground. It holds much weight without issue, and the sleek design looks great in our yard. Whether she’s displaying a hanging basket, a decorative sign, or a bird feeder, this hook does the job beautifully.

Sturdy and strong. It can in easy to put together pieces. The prongs stick into the ground securely. It holds a considerable amount of weight and they look amazing in my yard. I can easily switch out my decoration and plants as needed be.

No instructions were needed to assemble the shepherd’s hook (I only put one up for now). You just screw the pieces together. Once assembled, the spikes on the bottom piece do a good job of keeping the pole in place, but the pole itself leans under the weight of the bird feeders. (And no, the photos are not exaggerated.) It seems some of the pieces of the pole don’t screw in tightly enough, and that may be what’s causing the lean. Or it may be that the pole simply isn’t sturdy enough. The base is staying in place, though, so the hook is upright, and birds are happily noshing. If our polar vortex ever ends, I’ll experiment with trying to fix the lean.
