Although they are built to be "waterproof" the poor latches cannot pull the lid down tight enough to seal against the silicone seal. They just barely hold on at all with the 2 boxes I bought. I would have bought several more if the latches/lids sealed down tight.

As you can see this fly box is really full.. I love it. Very versatile you can put streamers, nymphs, dry flies etc. ALOT cheaper then what you'd pay at a fly shop. (Not discrediting fly shops). BUT everyone knows prices are high. Well here's your budget box.

This is a great box for to combine streamers and other big flies. The side with the long full slots holds streamers great, even big articulated Kelly Galloup patterns. I wish the sides matched. I currently have hoppers on the other side, but I don't have room for all of my streamers.

I have not tested the water resistance or the durability, but for the cost this is a very nice product. The closures seem pretty solid and are easy to use, but not so easy that I am worried about it popping open unintentionally. There is not a lot of room between the underside of the top and the foam where the flies are stored so not great for streamers or larger dries or wet flies with large hackles or parachute flies, but great for smallish dries, nymphs, wooly worms, etc. - anything that less than about 1/2 inch tall.

Super cheap plastic. One hinge was broken when it arrived. Don’t waste your money on this
