No Damage to Pulleys
The groove of the adjustable arm is not only precision machined, but also has a triple-threaded screw design that grips the pulley tightly without damaging it
Easy to Use:
- Firstly, use the hook claw of the adjusting arm to hook pulley.
- Secondly, adjust the cross bar against the center shaft, and then lock the locknuts on both sides tightly,
- After locking it, turn the cross bar by using a hex wrench, 17 mm wrench, or 3/8 inch square head wrench to easily remove the pulley.
- Note: Extra caution on pulleys. Make sure it's firmly seated at the outer pulley flange or it will tear through the grooves

Very nice well made tool that deserves a case. Seriously where’s the case. Unfortunately it doesn’t come with one so I’m sure one day I’ll be missing part of it. Other than that it works great. Super easy to use, nice clean finish and easy to adjust.

This tool is bigger and heftier than I expected. I got it to take off a crankshaft pully that I just could not reach with 2 or 3-arm pullers (as body parts are in the way).Being able to slide the posts along the bar - and the right angle pull worked. It was not easy, as I couldn't get both sides to grip at the same points, but the machined notches on either end got a good hold. Even then, I had to try various combinations of socket adapters and extenders to reach the shaft. Then I tightened the securing knobs to keep the tool in place while torquing the bolt.It's not that the keyed pully was that bound that tight - it's just that this was the only tool that let me get a good grip on it.It's worth the money if it gets you through one tough job; but now I have it as my go-to puller tool for the next job.

Like any puller this harmonic balancer/crankshaft pulley puller has a limited range of use. In my case the puller does not fit the crankshaft pulley on a 2002 Nissan Altima 2.5L QR25DE. The grip arms are just too short. One other small matter was the locking bolts for the adjustable width grip arms. One of the locking bolts accepted the 10mm hex drive that was supplied with the puller but the other locking bolt was sized for a 9mm hex drive. Still it is a heavy built tool that should work on whatever it fits and a good addition to a mechanic's set of pullers.

Great for ac compressor, and alternator rebuilds where typical internal screw pullers wont work. Also good for those stuck on Crankshaft pullys.The quality is very good.

This pull has a nice design for easily adjusting to different diameter pulleys. The center bolt is fairly short which is a mixed blessing - it fits nicely into the space available with the engine in the vehicle. But it means that, as is, it will not work for deeper pulleys. That can easily be remedied by getting a longer bold as needed. This will be a very handy addition to the tool box.

Needed it to pull my balancer on a 350 swb. First I tried a tool from an auto parts store and it was flimsy that we stripped the threads the first time. This is quality build and we had the balancer off in a minute. It functioned like it was supposed to and fit on it without problems to cranc it. The removal was a snap.

Worked perfectly for removing a power steering pump pulley. Who knows when I’ll need it again, but it’ll be in the tool box. No issues with build quality and it still looks new after 1 use.

I ordered this tool to add to my collection so when I need to remove the power steering pulley on one of our vehicles or any other pullies I will not be fighting to get it off the shaft. This is a very heavy duty pulley removal tool and has all the features you need to get a pully off without any damage. The only thing I would mention is if you are looking to use this on an older harmonic balancer you will be disappointed. The jaws are not deep enough for the thicker harmonic balancers Like my Chevrolet Chevelle 350. The newer harmonic balancers that are thin and have a serpentine belt it may work well. Other then that I am happy with this tool and would order it again and would recommend it to others. I would also note while they could have made all three bolts an Allen bolt they chose to make the center bolt a 3/8" square ratchet drive bolt. I assume so you could get more leverage and possibly smaller angle with a fine toothed ratchet. The outer bolts are the width adjustment which once set you do not need to turn any further. The center bolt is the main pulling bolt so a ratchet does make sense.
