I wasn't sure how much support I'd get from these but they seem to work well. I can tell they are there but it feels fine. I did have to spend a few minutes getting them into the right spot inside my sandal. But once there, they stay in place.

I bought these for a somewhat different purpose than the other reviewers, but in case there's someone else out there like me, I thought I'd write a review for how they worked for my needs.Because of nerve problems in my feet, I can really only wear one pair of shoes. They are a sort of sneaker/walking shoe. (Yup, very unsexy. Alas.) I wear inserts in them, non-custom orthotics. The orthotics do not have enough arch support. After trying many different things which were not tolerable -- other arch supports, plus makeshift arches -- these turned out to work really well. What some other reviewers complain about with use in a flat shoe -- not enough arch -- is perfect for me since my orthotic already has some arch support. And, since my feet are ridiculously hypersensitive, the cushion-y-ness of these works for me.Oh also, for anyone who is having problems with lack of stickiness with the adhesive: use rubber cement. Put a thin layer on the spot on the innersole of the shoe, and a thin layer on the bottom of the arch support. Let it dry til tacky (goes quickly, so don't go far!), then press them together. I once worked in a shoe repair shop. This is how we adhered lightweight things like this every day.

I did not have a good experience with this product, I applied them to a pair of Sandals and I can definitely feel a large uncomfortable lump on my arch when I walk :-(. Shipping is too expensive. The seller put the item in a larger envelope than they had to, with A brochure, trying to entice me to buy more items. Perhaps they can do without the added brochures to bring down the shipping cost. I would not recommend this product. The shipping is much much too expensive!!!!! I only ordered them because I thought they would really work but they did not help me. I have one positive note they stayed in place (for me). But they really hurt, after walking on them for about 10 minutes.

The adhesive is strong so they stay in place in my leather high-heels, and they are comfortable. I was previously using the Dr. Scholl's For Her hidden arch supports, which provided higher arch support but they didn't stick well and came off every time I took the shoes off, and I ended up losing those supports. Ideally for these Coach heels (which are awfully flat-arched) I would want an arch support that's a bit higher than Dr. Rosenberg's and a bit lower than Dr. Scholl's, but the Dr. Rosenberg's will do for now.

I have really high arches and buy sandals and shoes all the time with supposed arch support. Danskos, Skechers Gowalk, Birkenstocks, etc. I add these and those shoes suddenly work for me. They work really well in shoes that don't have room for an orthotic/arch support. They are not irritating under a bare foot, and they feel like part of the shoe.I have used these for years (the bigger ones that I have often cut down, so this size works for me), and they have held up really well.

I really love these arch supports. I use a variety of arch pads in various shoes. I notice that one doesn't fit all for me. My arches are medium, not super high or anything. But I need some arch support in most all shoes except some Eccos and Cobb Hills. I can't tolerate rigid or extremely high arch supports (like Pedag Step). These Dr. Rosenbergs are soft and just the right thickness for my shoes that have no arch support (eg, Clarks). I find them to be very comfortable, really perfect for me. I didn't think the shape would work for me but it does. I have only used them once so far (wore them for 13 hours straight) and they stuck great. I ordered more so that i don't have to move them out of the shoes i put them in. Like all arch pads, i'm sure the adhesive will wear out eventually...i use shoe goo to glue them in when that happens.

I wanted to like this item. I was so happy to find black arch supports I could use for my black sandals so they wouldn't look goofy. Well, they look great and stay in place just fine but they provide no arch support for me whatsoever. Unless you have totally flat feet, I don't see how these could be of any help. Would be a great product if the arch support was better.

This was my first order of the Dr. Rosenberg's Instant Arches Sandal Arch Supports. My foot arch is too high to even feel a difference with these. I guess they are better than nothing, but for me, I don't think that they will provide enough support for my foot in sandals. I am a big fan of arch supports and have several different brands as well as custom made ones. I guess I will have to keep looking for just the right sandal support.
