DR Lo-Rider bass strings are the deepest sounding strings I have heard. They also have bright treble and understandable mid-range frequencies. Any way I set my tone, all of the notes are heard equally. They stay in tune instantly as soon as new strings go on my instrument. They are long enough to reach my string-through-body long-scale bass. I have tried most any brand of strings and most types of strings and have found nothing comparable to DR strings.
