Beware!!!!This item did not work for me in fact the whole thing basically exploded. I was trying to use this to check for or unclog the plumbing between my skimmer basket and my pool pump. I placed the rubber piece in the pipe from my basket by the pump towards my pool skimmer and turned on the hose. The first time it got stuck for a bit. But then, as you can see from the attached photos it busted into 3 pieces leaving one still in my pool plumbing that I could not reach.

What I like:I remember seeing such a device amongst my late father's tools. Later, on the item became misplaced, but I recall wondering just what this peculiar thing actually was, as I had no clue. Fast forward to now, finding this item listing and seeing what it does, I just had to try it out on my stubbornly-slow bathtub drain. The product is a highly effective and makes for a fantastic alternative to harsh chemicals or a drain snake.I initially didn't like the idea of having to run a garden hose through the house, as the bathroom is on the second floor. However, it worked out just fine, since the bathroom sits in a straight line to the outside water spigot. The jetted stream of water is very powerful and the product will cut right through built-up sludge, and will even push through hair, making the drain run freely! What I don't like:There's not a single thing I don't like about the product.I'm totally confident that I'll order another one of these, just to keep on hand.

This is the fastest and easiest way to clear any clog you may have. We hooked up the garden hose and within about 20 seconds of running the water the clog was completely gone. I think every home needs to have one of these in their tool kit. This is a great tool that functions perfectly and is a very cheap solution to getting rid of clogs.

This drain bladder / clog remover puts out water at high pressure to push whatever may be clogging the drain further down the drain. While it helps remove the clog from where it was originally, it can cause more damage if the clog just moves further down the line, which can make it harder and more expensive to clean than the original issue. This also requires a connection for a hose to be available for it to work.

so my 3 kids from time to time accidentally drop the caps to toothpastes down the drain on the second floor of our house, along with who knows what else kids like throwing down drains. I noticed the sinks not draining sufficiently and suspect the caps were getting caught in the horizontal pipe between the sinks due to the relatively gentle flow rate. so i used this drain bladder to force all that stuff out of the lines. It worked great.

The Rubber Drain Bladder for Unclogging 1.5” to 3” Drain Pipes (ASIN: B0DLLCKRFZ) feels and appears to be well made. A washer is included that effectively formed a good, water tight seal with the garden hose. As I did not at the moment have any drain blockages to remove, I inserted the bladder into a short section of 1.5” PVC pipe to evaluate how the bladder would work. I turned on the garden hose to provide water pressure to the bladder. The bladder immediately enlarged and formed a secure, fast seal against the walls of the PVC pipe. At the same time water began flowing from the opposite end of the bladder in a strong stream. This is the water that would increase the pressure between the sealed bladder and the blockage, forcing the blockage away along the pipe that would result in the blockage breaking up.Once the water flow via the garden hose was stopped, the bladder resumed its original size and was easy to remove from the PVC pipe. No damage was found to the pipe.Based on my observations I feel comfortable that the Rubber Drain Bladder would be effective at removing blockages from the stated size sewer pipes. At the posted price I found this to be a very good value compared against the cost of a plumber’s service call charges. This would be an easy DIY project for those that wanted to save some money, and I expect that the bladder will be able to be reused many, many times.

Looks like a dangerous sex toy but clears your drains like nothing else.

The easiest way to clean a drain is to grab one of those yellow plastic drain snakes, about 2 feet long with barbs to grab hair and other clogs. Second easiest is to just go into the drain's P-trap, either through an access hole or unscrewing the trap on both ends. This drain bladder usually works well if the first two fail. There are three inherent problems using these bladders. The first is that you cannot use it if there's any stopper or X-shaped plug obstructing the pipeline. Second, you must push the bladder past any overflow outlet or stopper mechanism in the drain's tailpiece. If you've removed the P-trap, the first two problems are already solved. Thirdly, it can be a chore to drag a garden hose into the house to power the bladder. But if snakes and P-trap removal fail, this is a miraculous solution. In almost every case, your 40-pound per square inch water pressure from the hose will be sufficient to push the clog into a larger diameter pipe and out into whatever sewer system you have. Clog gone.I already owned a 3" to 6" bladder that has saved me numerous times from main sewer clogs (though it can't chew through encroaching tree roots), but haven't had a smaller bladder like this for sink and tub clogs. It'll come in handy in our 100-year-old home.
