The small compass has a thumbscrew for fine adjustment between 1/16" and 1-3/8". The large divider-style compass has a knee joint that lets you set the leg spacing to nearly nothing and a leg extension bar that allows you to draw surprisingly large circles (over 20" in diameter). A curved steel point can replace the lead for use as a divider or for scribing circles on wood, and a pencil holder attachment allows use with any pencil or pen with a diameter less than 7/16"Comes in Acrylic Storage Case.
