Bought this at the end of 2015 for my PS4. Worked great for just over a year - charged both while I played and in rest mode. But now, for no reason, it just stopped functioning. It's not damaged, frayed, or bent - but yet it no longer charges my controller. I know the controller is fine because I'm back to using the rediculously short 3 foot cord that came with my PS4 and the controller is charging just fine. Three stars for the fact that it did work, then stopped for no reason.

So I learned an important lesson. If you charge your ps4 controller with a wall charger, it will fry your battery over time and kill the controller. I had two controllers that no longer turned on so I ordered this and a new controller.It's super long so it can reach me easily and it worked awesome at charging and connecting the new controller. The real gem for me, is that it managed to save one controller.The oldest controller just completely died. The second, the light wouldn't come on, it wouldn't show a charge level, and it barely worked. After I used this cord and reset the controller, it works. The lights work, the speaker works, it rumbles again, it's alive.The other is still dead and a reminder to never wall charge a controller no matter how desperate you are to finish a raid.

Its a good replacement to your out of the box Ps4 charger. It stays in the controller while playing which is surprisingly hard to find among the few recharging cable brands which is a plus. Fair price, and the length is true to its word. A solid, safe purchase.

I bought this cord because my ps4 charging cord stopped working. This chord fits the job just fine for a ps4 controller charging chord even better than the one provided because it fit more sturdily in the controller and its add length made it much easier to charge and play.

This cable works really well and holds tight in the controller, at least for a little while. I bought this in April 2015 and in May 2016 it no longer charges. A few months ago it started not connecting all the time but wiggling the cable or unplugging it and plugging back it worked. However it became touchier after a while before it finally stopped working.It seems many people run into the problem of it not charging anymore after a while. I'm guessing a pin or connector gets damaged via use (as wiggling cable caused it to connect and disconnect for a while).

Not much you can say really. It does exactly what you think. The one and only bad thing i can say about the PS4 is the controller battery life, and the charge cable it comes with is very short and this fixes that perfectly. Now u can play while charging the controller and not have to be right next to your PS4 console. Great buy.

Worked just fine to charge my controllers and the long cord length is a big plus. There isn't much else to note other than the fact this cable didn't work to charge my smart phone even though its the same USB plug. That was kind of a disappointment.

This item works without a flaw for a first couple of months. And then, the plug starts to get loose and you need to adjust it several times to ensure it charges your controller. The charger still works fine though, In overall, it's a good price and I still would recommend this to other people.Update:Okay, now the cable wont charge my controller unless I twist the cable and wrap it to my controller to get a more secure fit. This can damage my controller and I am planning to buy a charger port with better quality

If you're like me, you worry about cheap wires powering or being plugged into your expensive electronics. The last thing I wanted was a cheap 2 dollar wire powering my PS4 controller risking me having it burn out or just not work. So I bought two of these to make sure that my controllers were always charged and if they weren't, I could plug these in and still play from across the room while they charge. Love these.
