Great for treating small stains or algae spots without jumping in. But be careful not to scrape the metal parts of the apparatus on the pool surface. Also, adjusting the holding screw is a little tricky. Too loose and the puck slips out. Too tight and you'll break the chlorine puck.

This tool was purchased to remove deep embedded, dark black stains in the deep end of our pool that pool chemicals could not remove. Very easy to use while in the pool with a mask or outside of the pool. Use a chlorine tablet and maneuver it throughout the process.. Excellent product, it removed the black stains and our pool floor looks brand new!l with no more stains! A++++

Horrible quality. Rusted terribly. Didn't fit the tablets right. Dropped rust in my pool and now I have metal stains.

Average hold on tablet. Tablet falls oit and if too tight breaks. I had to try at least. Live and learn.

I recently bought this tablet holder and is working great. No problem at all holding standard size tablets, no adjustment or troubleshooting at all. Very well constructed, the body looks like aluminum and the screws and springs looks like stainless steel. One recommendation is to rinse the holder with fresh water after use and allow to air dry. Chlorine is very corrosive , even for stainless steel. So far I am very please with this holder.

Other than having to adjust the width to the max to accommodate a standard 3” tablet, this thing is the (shut yo mouth!). Easily knocks off black algae bumps and leaves a thick film of chlorine on the spot which will surely kill the remaining algae film! I love it!!! Oh, very sturdy.
