These tools are mostly for Toyota vehicles. My Honda/Acura vehicles don't require them. Almost all cars, except Toyota's, do not need them. In its relentless pursuit to save a couple of bucks, Toyota installs axle nut on a portion of drive axle that still have useful threads. So while I can remove all other axle nuts by using an impact wrench directly, I cannot do that for a Toyota because it will destroy the drive axle. And, if you are a novice and don't have the experience, you might leave some burrs behind after you remove the axle nut that will still damage the axle. Talking about how cheap Toyota is! These two pieces of tools make life much easier. The most important one is the one with a curved and sharp tip. That tip will allow me to drive the tool underneath the axle nut stake and completely pop the staked up. Makes life a lot easier. It is essentially SP Tools (Schley Products) 65420. The other one is not as essential, but it is also very nice. Because most chisels are too sharp for this job. A new chisel is very bad. You actually need a worn-out chisel. The blunted tip will reduce the chance to damage the axle nut. And most chisels are too wide, so this one will use the extra portion to stick out a bit so that after the job is done, the axle nut won't be bent too close to the axle. Making it easier to remove for the next guy. Very good tools.
