The antenna in this is much weaker than the original. You have to almost be touching the car with the key fob for the proximity key to work. The car also doesn't recognize the antenna in these handles, so you end up with a "Key System Error" on your dashboard until you take these handles back off. Guess it's ok as a temporary solution. Try something else first!

I used it to replace with my original 2018 leaf left door handle. I substituted the handle frame and cover only (kept original electronics). It was fairly easy with limited necessary tools (1 torx and 1 phillips screws) since i didn't disconnect original button and detector.
