After removing my damaged factory mirror, it appeared that this unit was going to be a good fit. Putting them side by side, you can't tell any difference. The electrical connector is identical.This was easy to install, just a little bit of effort to make sure the heating element connectors lined up perfectly, then a couple of taps with my gloved palm to seat it properly in the mirror housing.So much less expensive than a factory replacement part, but, unfortunately the first time I took the van out driving, the mirror started wobbling around in the housing so I pulled over and inspected it. It's installed properly with all the tabs in the housing connector as they should be. It's just that the connector on the backside of the glass is out of spec and doesn't mesh tight enough with the housing. I took three stars off for that because it's very annoying. Heater works great, but the wobble is profound, and it makes me afraid it's going to wobble loose and pull the heater wires out of the housing. I'm gonna have to remove it and see if I can apply something to the back to build it up a bit so it'll fit tighter. For the money, it's a reasonable option and maybe yours won't wobble like mine does, but as it stands, I can't recommend it.

This was easy to install and took less than 5 minutes. The included tool helped pry off the old one without damage, then it was a matter of unhooking the power for the defrost, hooking the wires to the new unit and snapping it back in.

Had a deer run into drive side window, and it cracked the mirror. Requested this mirror replacement part and it came in perfect size and clips and such. The mirror glass is very clear and looked good for viewing. Any mess on it is just from me handling it. Unfortunately, I was unable to use it due to having our mirror case clips being broken so this replacement part could not snap into it, but it is not an issue with the mirror part, I should have checked my mirror housing better to be sure it was still intact. Leaving good review because the part was great if my mirror housing hasn’t have been broken also.
