I have used crack fillers before. You shake the jug, cut the tip and pour it into the crack. NOT THIS ONE!! This had very high solids. Impossible to pour or squeeze out. I had to use a paint stir stick to get it out. Applied it like putty. I bet it holds up very well. We will know in a year….or two.

cut approx 1/3 inch down on spout or you will be holding for every waiting a long time for something to come out. I used a putty spatula to spread it evenly every foot or two. Let it settle for a couple of hrs or a day, then see where you need to add more. I used 1/3 container to do the apron entry edge into my garage. I used a sandwich back doubled over twice then rubber banded real tight to the top to save the rest.filled approx 1/8" crack length of drive, I refill where needed in some places - 2 or 3 times over a month. If you want to make it quick work get a bag of sak create (sand). Over all I like the product easy to use and cheaper than paying someone to do it.

Works well and easy to apply. The cap needs to be cut to a minimum of 1/4” in to pass the small lumps in the mix. Very few but will. Plug the applicator tip up if it is smaller.

I purchased another gallon of the sealer in order to finish the cracks on the driveway and to apply a second coat in certain areas. My experience was the same as with the first gallon. The sealer was easy to apply and dried with a nice black color. If I need more after the winter months, I'll buy this sealer again. I'm puzzled as to why some others got negative results and posted one star. I'm very pleased with the results.

Very easy to apply and fills the cracks just the way it's supposed to. So far I've only had it on for 2 weeks but it looks great. There's been no cracking and some of the cracks that it filled were half an inch wide and it did a great job on them. The disadvantage is that it's expensive. But I felt I'd rather use an expensive product once then a less expensive one twice.

My Driveway is over 20 years old. I used this product several times and it hasn't let me down. Best to turn bottles over night or shake Very well. I needed two jugs so I I just mixed the two jugs in a 5 gallon bucket and used a paint mixer on my drill. Deep cracks you can use a backer rod. I just poured it in the cracks to the top and let it self level. Two years ago I purchased a whole driveway resurface sealer after letting the cracks dry and cure. Driveway look amazing. Last year I just used a Cheaper Driveway sealer to refresh the look but before that I used this stuff again to fill in New cracks. I live in Western New York so Salt and snow takes a toll on asphalt. This year just one jug is all I need for small spider cracks. I didn't even need the whole jug so I gave the rest to a neighbor . Settling of product is normal so don't let the chunks turn you away from a excellent product. I rather pay $26 than have a new Driveway put down when my current Driveway is hold up very well. Wear gloves lol! Stuff sticks to skin and shoes pretty good

Like the ease of using the product versus using a tube and a caulking gun to apply. Just used an old paintbrush to smooth over the entire crack and seal both sides to form a waterproof barrier. Discard old brush.

I filled cracks and the gap between the asphalt and Belgian blocks along the edge of the driveway before I applied the driveway sealer. This was about 4 weeks ago and I am pretty happy with the final job. We'll see how it all holds up over our Zone 7 winter. You definitely need to shake the container well before and periodically while using the product. The spout did clog once in a while but I just cleared it with a twig. At some point I was getting out the filler by squeezing the bottom of the jug with both hands. So it did take some hand strength and coordination to empty the jug where you wanted it to go. Be sure to check the weather before applying as it will wash out when it hasn't dried. I found this out when I sprayed water on a bit of section I had filled. No harm done but I needed to reapply the filler.

The very first thing I did was read the back of the gallon bottle. It said to shake the heck out of it for a couple minutes. I did. It said to take the top off to grab the spout and flip it upright. I put on a pair of latex gloves, grabbed a couple paper towels, grabbed the spout and cleaned it off and then I put it through the cap spout side up. Simple and no mess. Then I cut the top about 1/4". Directions say 1/8 inch. How would tar flow through an 1/8 in hole? I don't think it would so that's why I cut it 1/4". Outside temperature was about 80 degrees. The tar flowed easily into the cracks that I had cleaned prior to using this stuff. Take your time putting the tar in the cracks and it does a good job. The color is brown when applied and then turns a sort of black color, It takes a couple hours or so before you can walk on it. Directions said to put sand on it so it won't track. If you seal your driveway it's important to know black top sealer doesn't stick to dirt ! I can't rate on how well this will hold up. I just applied it today. When I finished filling the crack I took it to my shop, grabbed a big nail and stick in in the spout and wrapped the spout with plastic and a rubber band. I guess I would buy this again even though I believe it's water based instead of oil based.
