We were a little concerned that this replacement belt was going to be a disappointment. We could tell right away that our concern was unfounded. This belt fit perfectly. The manufacture appears very solid. After a while if you are a frequent user of this Jet drum sander, you're going to wear out the carrier belts, especially along the sides. This is a quality replacement part at a good price.

Very stiff and took about 3 hours to install by myself. Extra set of hands would have helped!

This conveyor fits the Jet drum sander very well and works great. It has plenty of grip to move the work piece through the sander and it doesn't leave marks on the work piece. It was easy to install and the materials used for it all feel very high quality. I would recommend this.

First of all, I have a Performax 16-32 Plus and this belt fits just like the original belt. The belt came rolled up and lightly sealed in shrink wrap plastic. My only issue with this is that the 2 ends were crushed down a bit more than I would have liked. If would have been nice if they placed a cardboard tube on each end to prevent this from happening. I’ll warn you now, when I opened up the rolled belt many fine particles (grit?) fell off, so open the belt up in a location that is either easy to clean up or you don’t care about.To replace the belt on my Performax 16-32 Plus, I had to remove 2 bolts from the end opposite the motor and loosen up the current/original belt to the maximum allowed by the built in tensioners. Then I had to lift the table that the belt is on up a little to slide the old belt off and slide the new one on. I noticed that the original belt was a P120 grit and this one is a P100 grit, which shouldn’t be too much of a difference. I reinstalled the 2 bolts and then re-tensioned the new conveyor belt. I then ran it for a while to perform a quick alignment check. During the check, I noticed that whenever the belt reached the position where the 2 ends were on the end rollers, it would move a bit quicker and the sound of the motor changed a little too (hence my earily suggestion).This belt appears to be thicker than the old one, but the old one is probably 20-25 years old and is showing a lot of wear marks on the edges. Now I hope this belt lasts as long as the original one and if not I’ll update this review.

I liked the speed which I received it. The problem which caused me some down time before I was able to use it as intended was the way it is packed for shipping! It is a wide sanding belt that is used as a conveyor belt for a drum sanding machine. It came in a nice sized box, but it was rolled up tightly causing two creases that caused the belt to stall every time it came to the 5/8” round drive roller. I was able to iron the creases out and use it as intended!
