Optimal internal room for RIMS mounted toms. My Gretsch toms fit great. Padding is very thick. Highly recommend.

First of all, let me be clear that I am not being endorsed by the manufacture. These are my own opinions based on my experiences.This case is well worth the price. The base drum needs the most protection since they are so large and are more likely to bump into other thing when moving the base drum them from location to location. The wool padding is soft offers good cushioning and protection. The zipper is beefy and strongly stitched.The handle feels like quality in the hands. One thing I wish the bass drum case had was attachment points to use backpack hoops. It is a bit awkward to carry around like a suitcase due to the size and weight of the drum and being able to mount it like a backpack would be a nice feature.One time I got caught in an suprise severe rainstorm coming back from a performance and all my drums were in the back of my pickup truck exposed to the rain. They were all in protection racket cases including this one and I prayed my drums will be ok.Incredibly, the drums mostly completely dry after I took them out of the soaking wet drum cases. They got a few drops of water on the shells here and there but that's it. At least the drums weren't completely drenched which could have potentially ruined my expensive drum set. And these cases were completely soaked, and I mean soaked! It took a few days for them to completely dry out before putting the drums back in their cases. Granted, these drum cases are not advertised as being waterproof or water resistant at all so please DO NOT let your cases get rained on.I was so impressed how well the Protection Racket cases saved my drums from a potential disaster. I'm not being endorsed by the company at all, these are my own opinions based on my personal experiences.
