Was really hoping to receive the Tom stand but unfortunately got the hi hat stand instead I will use the hihat stand instead of returning but I can’t believe I waited about a month for a messed up order

I play pretty hard, and this keeps my toms in place right above my bass drum, not making me worry about them moving when I don’t want them to. Another good piece of hardware. Of course, test it well and tighten it after playing the first several times.

First off I want to say why I am not giving this stand 5 stars. The only reason is the weight. I understand that it is a double-braced piece of hardware, and that the center rod is thick. But trying to carry any more than two of these stands at a time is a chore. It always takes me more trips with my hardware than it used to after replacing all my stands with this model. They have upgraded the wing-nut style torque screws with a deeper, more natural feel to them. It is a single adjustment stand with a memory lock. The build quality is top notch and the usability of this stand is amazing. I currently use them for rack toms and attach dog bone dw extensions to the other arm. The adjustments on the ball joints are nice and smooth, but you have to compensate for weighted items. The dog bones with cymbals, and any tom over 12" needs to be given a higher height than desired. When the item finally sits at its resting position, it will be a few cm lower than where you placed it. This stand goes on the road extremely well. It is a great workhorse for a touring gig. It really can be a great stand for anybody that doesn't need to be moving their gear a lot, or can have a little help doing it.
