Ordered this stand which I needed and was expecting to use immediately. Only a two day delivery period, but on delivery day I received an email stating it wouldn’t be delivered for a whole other month! Unacceptable for a quality brand name.

I've been using the Yamaha lightweight aluminum cymbal and snare/tom stands which are terrific. Super light and stable. With my new drum set I need a light cymbal solution for my 20" zildjian ride and Yamaha does not make a boom stand in their lightweight aluminum series. Went with this DW solution which is super light and easy to work with. I found I have to make sure one leg of the stand is in line with the boom, and I can extend the boom enough where it just works. It's been working fine at gigs, but if I'm really digging into the ride, I can see the stand move back and forth a bit. But, it's never failed or fallen over yet. I'm guessing you don't want to go any larger than a 20" ride on this stand. 4 stars due to its cymbal size/weight limitations.

It makes a perfect ride cymbal stand and doesn't take up a lot of room. It is surprisingly stable considering it is a flush bottom stand.

Very light weight and compact compared to my other cymbal stands. Works well with a 16 inch crash; have not tried it with a larger cymbal. However, note that the boom is only about 12 inches long so the stand can't be placed to far back from the kit.

軽くて持ち運びはとても楽で良い。ただ高さがちょっと足りない。しっかりしていて、十分に使えるだけに残念。スプラッシュ等サイド系に使ってます。

I can't say enough about these stands. They are so light weight I was scared to play out with them, but they haven't budged not one time, and I have and 18" crash, a 12" splash, and a remote hi-hat all mounted to one stand with dog bones. It has a small foot print and did I mention how light weight they are?

This is perhaps the most perfect piece of hardware a gigging drummer could ever own. It is at least 1/2 the weight of any boom cymbal stand I have ever owned and is surprisingly sturdy. It is obviously not going to be as stable as some of the behemoth stands that Pearl, DW etc... make, but for the ability to not have a hardware bag that will end up weighing 75+ pounds it is WELL worth it. I highly recommend this to any drummer who does gigs on a regular basis.

Overall I love it. I do wish the boom arm was slightly longer but other than that my back thanks DW!

It'll work for my application (lite jazz and blues -- low profile low volume kit) I would never use it in my Rock set up. It's a little cheep for DW; something I'd expect from PDP. I may have done better buying used.
