I love this set. The price was right, the box is sturdy and can store other bits as I add to my collection. The bits themselves cut through ceramic with ease. Great purchase!

I've never been a big fan of the idea of using wax for drilling, but I thought I would try it for this evaluation. It does work, but I still prefer using water. I suppose there will be cases in which it won't be practical to use water, so these will come in handy. And there's nothing stopping you from using water with these anyway. I mean, using water won't "ruin" any benefit the wax will contribute. The big surprise for me was that the wax didn't all melt out when drilling a single hole, and while the wax did leave some residue it didn't make a major mess. My cursory internet search yielded a statistic of 20 holes per wax refill "on average". Give the seller some extra credit for distributing the bits in a decent container that will protect them and keep them organized.

These bits cut in a way that is very pleasing. They eat concrete into dust fast and easily.I don't know if these are actual diamonds, but they cut well enough to be.The various sizes fit most small jobs, and the holder is one that should last a long while, even banging around my shop. These are a great value at ~$19.1 star off for Rando Brandnamian.

I have been building a plant collection. Pots can be very expensive. I like to hit thrift stores like Goodwill and Salvation Army to find suitable planters. Many times I find nice looking ceramic containers, but many don't have drainage holes. I tried using a carbide bit, but they take a long time to punch though. They also get really hot and create a lot of smoke/dust/fumes. This bit works great. It's a bit tricky to get started, but once you get the hang of it you can punch a hole in the bottom of a container in about a minute. Plus there's no smoke/dust/fumes. Works great.

I had a hole in my bathroom tile after removing a towel rack, and it was really ragged (crummy installation when the house was built). I wanted to patch it in a meticulous way, to make it unobtrusive; but, I knew I couldn't achieve that because of the irregularity. One of these bits was all I needed, and I'm very pleased at how well it did the job -- and how unobtrusive an effective it enabled. Glad to have these in my tool kit!

This is a nice small set with a secure case. Bits work well with the wax coating but can be used with water as well. Sizing may not be exact so check each one. Easily cuts thru concrete and masonry with uniform holes.
