Great value product. 8 discs are very durable and should be enough for light polish of around 100m2. Image shows how 2 spots that are brighter that are polished with these pads (the rest is u polished)

Dry sanding and polishing is quick and dirty, but quick is the key word, these work great for everything except quartzite tops, those do better with wet sanding or the epoxy tends to discolor

I tried using these diamond polishing pads to smooth out a stone remnant to be used as a fireplace hearth. I started with the 1500 grit pad as I already used a 800 grit sanding disc previously. The 1500 grit was scoring the stone surface, so I switched to the 3000 grit, but even that (both wet and dry polishing methods) still scratched the stone, so I would recommend trying the diamond polishing pads on a hidden area first.
