I've been using this top handle with my canon t8i for a few months now and right off the bat, I'd like to say that the metal/aluminum build really helps assure that whichever environment my camera goes in, it will stay secure. That being said, if you are in a hot environment, the top handle WILL heat up and it will be extremely hard to hold on to it. The handle comes with an allen wrench in on of the top 2 corners which is cool until it becomes clear that it could very easily be lost if not taken care of. The allen wrench being magnetized helps in solving that, but i would strongly advice stashing it somewhere if you care about keeping it safe. The handle's horizontal adjustability is helpful when you try to alter the center of gravity of the camera and try to make space for other components, so that is a really big plus. The NATO rail is a big aspect of this handle it gives it much more adaptability over other handles that I have seen. I have been able to attach the handle to various cameras quickly - and that is one thing that I highly prioritize. There is a small logo in the front which is to be expected. I respect the fact that it is small and mostly out of the way. I have yet to use the attachment that is at the end of one of the horizonal sides of the handle, but I imagine that using a monitor would be really easy and efficient. I HAVE used the horse shoe mount on the other horizontal side of the handle for an RGB light and it worked well enough for its purpose. I would recommend this handle for someone who is looking at an option in the upper cheap range of handles and cares about build quality and adjustability. A great buy overall disregarding the miniscule problems that appear from time to time.

It mounts quickly, seems durable enough to trust with a lot, and feels comfortable in my hand. Provides a lot of mounting options, but really, if you are going to use it as a handle, then the only practial places to mount are the are around where it mounts. But those mounts work perfectly for what I do.

For what I paid, this is the best value for a camera handle. The Nato rail option is sort of essential if you wan to stick this in a standard case. It's incredibly easy to removed and attache the handle now.I came from a small rig handle which is also excellent, but this one is just as good. Such a great product and the price really can't be beat.

I absolutely love this handle. As camera operator, I needed something sturdy enough to handle the weight of not only my camera but the entire rig and this handle is perfect. Once it's tightened, I feel completely secure using it to support everything. I love that I can change the position of the grip so the mounting points fit the equipment I'm using at that moment. The only drawback is how cold the metal gets when shooting on location but that's honestly just how metal works.

I’ve ordered several SmallRig and MagicRig handles; MagicRig is cheaper and so far the quality is equivalent. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were made in the same factory.
