I’m a location sound supervisor working in TV. I was interested in this cable in case I needed to have a wireless receiver close to set while keeping my sound bag behind camera. This cable allows me to power a Lectrosonics SRc using any battery with a DTap. It eliminates the need to have a separate BDS to accomplish the same task. I don’t imagine I’ll need this often, but it’s a simple solution to an uncommon problem and doesn’t take up much room in my spare cable pouch. Recommended.

Works very well for my V-Mount batteries. The locking mechanism is super helpful for locking the cable in place when shooting run and gun scenes.
