Operation
Machine
- Machine: 5/8" arbor angle grinder.
- Recommended RPM: 6000. Maximum RPM: 11000.
- If you want to install it on a hand drill, in addition to buy a adapter,please ensure that the product is used at the highest speed with the hand drill. Because the general drilling speed of the hand drill is 2000-5000RPM. The drilling speed should not be much lower than the recommended drilling speed.
- Be careful not to use the hammer or impact mode.
Drilling
- Ideal for drilling the faucet mounting holes in stone countertops, plumbing lines in showers and vanities.
- For granite marble all nature stone concrete. Wet use is better.
- Not recommended drilling solid concrete and reinforced concrete. If you have to drill, please add enough water to use.
Effect
- Dry or wet use.
- If you want to drill more holes, we suggest you keep the bit cool or wet.
- If you find it hard to drill, please take a break and check the segments. If the segment become blunt, please try to sharp it by drilling a hole on the abrasive concrete and then continue to drill the hard material.
Recommend wet use
Operation tips :
- Do not use these drill bits with impact or hammer mode！
- Fix it on the angle grinder tightly and rightly.
- Turn on the angle grinder and let the core bits rotating in the air to check if there is a balance problem.
Everything is ready and you can follow the below instructions:
- 1) Place the drill at a 45-degree angle, it will help position.
- 2) Hold the machine very steadily and give gentle pressure to start drilling. Please don't exert too much pressure.
- 3) When you feel that the drill bit has cut into the material( that is, one edge of the hole is about to form), bring the drill up into an upright position slowly( that is to say, return the drill bit to 90°).
- 4) And then keep drilling vertically until the hole has been completely formed.
- 5) In addition to not give too much pressure. Please don’t greatly sway the core bits when working, or the hole will not be round. Slight sway is no problem.
- 6) If you find it hard to drill, please take a break and check the segments. If the segment becomes blunt, please try to sharp it by drilling a hole on the abrasive concrete and then continue to drill the hard material. For hard-to-drill stones, add enough water to use.
