this battery charger needs to be TURNED ON. takes some getting used to. has a nice, loud fan to keep the charger cool but dont run it while you're filming, its a tad noisy. But for the $, I havent been dissapointed.

I bought an additional V-Lock battery. Now I can charge both simultaneously without additional cables and power outlets.

This seems to be well made and has been dropped and bounced around a bit. Seems to take a super long time to charge compared to other brands though.

As a charter, this works well. It feels solidly put together, although it is fairly lightweight plastic. This makes it a good candidate for travel, not being overburdened with weight.It should be noted that larger V-Mount batteries (of higher capacity), even those made by the same manufacturer Miady (I own the model) will tip the charger toward itself if there is no counterbalance on the other side. It has reliably charged my battery, the fan noise is not bad, and it uses a standard IEC C13 power cable; which are abundant and easy to find.
