These tires were recommended to me. I travel mostly back country roads and dirt roads and these tires grip and handle excellent. They do have some road noise on pavement but that would be expected. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Good all-a-rounder for my DR650. Though I find a get a bit of speed wobble above 75 mph. Not much is left stock on my DR, so I might ride it a little harder than some. I went to a Pirelli MT21 up front and that calmed the speed wobble but it doesn't seem to have quite the bite the 606 does off road. I run about 18-20 PSI with no rim locks. I also don't have a steering stabilizer yet, so that my contribute to the tank slap. Also, the 606 is not reversible while the MT21 is. At about half it's life you will see a lot of scalloping on the 606. That's when it's for me to change it or for others to stay off the highway.

I Bought these (front and rear) back in November and just finally got them put on yesterday. You can definitely feel the knobbies at low speeds but at 30-40 I don't notice them at all. I'm going on a 200+ mile ride this weekend which is 80% 60mph highway and 20% jeep trail with a couple of KLR's so I'm looking forward to running away from them on the dirt :)I also noticed the lack of traction on the road compared the stock Trailwings which were like a street tire on the road. Braking is more prone to loss of traction and it doesn't feel nearly as stable in a 20-30mph 90 degree turn although it has not slipped out on me.I ride a DRZ-400s

This is the second set of D606's ive had on my '09 KLR. These are the knobbiest tires i have run, and i love them. I commute on my bike about 35 miles of hwy each way and should probably switch to a more street oriented tire, but i don't want to give up any off-road ability. I can drag my pegs on the corners with these tires, that is until one of them snapped off in a corner. I will continue to run these tires. They hold up well and are fantastic on and off road. On heavy corners you can feel a bit of tire walk due to the lugs, but it is very predictable. I live in Seattle, and they work great on wet pavement. I get about 7k on a front tire and 2800 on a rear tire. There is still meat left on them when I take them off, but not enough to grab off-road.
