This device gives home owners the ability to jet there own drain lines without backflow. It's well designed and first inflates to seal the bladder in the pipe. Then pressure builds up until water is forced through the nozzle in a jet. I used this in our main bathroom sink which was draining ever slower. Dragging the garden hose through the window is a bit of a mess, but better than paying someone. It worked well to get my main bathroom sink draining quickly again. My only concern is if this encountered an immovable blockage, pressure would build up until the inflatable's friction is overcome. If that baby pops out, it'll be followed buy a pipe-full of un-yummy water. I don't think that's likely, but it concerns me.

This has worked well in my bathroom sinks. It is too small for my kitchen sink though. But it’s helped get remove the clogs. It’s very easy to use and is well made and durable. I really like the DURATECH brand and the products they make. They are always great quality. Definitely recommend.

I connected it to a water hose and it expands to hold it in the pipe while it shoots a stream of water. It is the perfect size for the smaller drain pipes under my sink where I put a drain cleaner access.I have used a few different sizes of this type of drain cleaner and they all work good as long as your plumbing is glued together good.I would say these types of drain cleaners are good for everything except for roots growing in your pipes.I only used it long enough to test it but it held together and did its job.

The bladder expanded none, so by the time I went back into house after turning outside faucet on, my kitchen had water streaming out of the sink cabinet. Listed for use with 1"-2" drain lines--mine is 1.5".A big waste of time. Drain still clogged, and now will be running dehumidifier to dry out the room.

Definitely not for a tub. It's too small. Maybe for a water hose or sink small pipe. I tried to have it expand like the pictures but the water pressure is NOT high enough to inflate the bladder. I tried on a tub, but it's far too small and needs a bag around defeating the purpose of just having a regular garden hose down the drain

I have an outdoor sink in a BBQ island. The sink drain stopped up with small leaves and debris. I tried using a small snake to dislodge the obstruction from both ends. But it wouldn't get around the bends in the PVC pipe no matter how I manipulated it. I ordered this drain bladder since the drain is only 1.5 inches. You attach it on the end of a hose and insert it into the pipe. Then turn the water on and the bladder first inflates with water sealing off the pipe. Then it opens up to send the water pressure down the pipe. It only took a minute or so to free up the obstruction and get the drain operating freely. Highly Recommended.
