Well built, the handle is a good fit in the hands and it's easy to use. Not heavy and price was good. I did have to sharpen it but more to get to drive through the weeds.

This tool held up to a bumper crop of weeds. It is well made. in dry soil with weeds with shallow roots it is lethal. It doesn't work as well on grass or weeds with a tap root. It is not really the right angle to be a true "dutch" hoe. I used it more like a scuffle hoe . I could twirl up sticky vining weeds like they were spaghetti noodles. I think it is worth the price. It is useful and sturdy. I would probably not buy it again because it is not really the tool it claims to be.

I have been gardening for 20+ years. And I have tried all the weeding methods! black plastic, hand weeding, hoes, rotatilling, mulching.....etc. Then this year I watched an instagram video of a guy who maintains garden beds in an estate in England. He was using a dutch hoe, I have never seen a hoe like this before....so I went on Amazon and ordered this one. This hoe is everything! I got it out of the box and took it right outside to the tough bermuda grass growing in my vegetable garden. in Seconds...while standing up I eliminated an entire area of weeds! This is so fast and EASY. No more sore hamstrings and hands! I can't wait to go out tomorrow and do more areas. This does have a small head on it, which is perfect for fitting between smaller rows or behind plants! I would recommend the taller handle height if you are over 5'9". I am 5'10" and chose the smaller handle height and I do have to bend over slightly.

The concept is great; push - pull is the way to do weeds. But, this tool is blunt on the push side. I took it to a sharpening shop and had an edge put on it. Works nicely now. Maybe in the Netherlands they don’t need that. In Wisconsin it’s necessary.

Eventually got some dry weather, so could try out the hoe. This european hoe is for better than American options; it rios up weeds going back and forward and the cut out above blade makes for easy pick up.

In south west Florida we have sturdy clay left behind in the drained swamp areas. I really need a long thin blade to cut into this dense clay to lift out roots. Nice try but no cigar for me on this choice.
