These work like a charm on the PDP 700/800 series arms. A great way to add effect cymbals to your kit without too much hardware.I also use one on my tama 900B double Tom holder to hold a 10” splash from a Tom arm.

Very robust very effective and easy to use. Will not regret this purchase. I mounted three splashes on a single boom arm using this.

I bought this cymbal clamp to add another splash cymbal to my setup. I had one currently on a boom arm, and this clamp slides on the back side of the boom arm. It fit the PDP stand I currently have snuggly, which was nice to see.Okay, if you haven't purchased any DW stands, then you're in for a treat here. This thing is built like a tank, with all of the care and thought DW normally puts into their products. The wingnut securing the cymbal is linked to the top cymbal felt... so when you unscrew it you don't have one or the other falling all over the place. That's very helpful when you need to swap cymbals in a show. The sleeve can be adjusted, but I haven't messed around with this yet. Once you place the tilter where you want it, DW's large black handles easily let you grab and tighten the clamp down - another plus when you're setting up and tearing down your gear.I love this thing, and I'm honestly considering adding more effects cymbals because these clamps are so cool!Buy it, you'll like it.
