I got this lock for my e-scooter.I have an off road one with dual motors. So its pretty beefy.This lock will work well though.It feels like good quality. The directions were great. I had the combination changed within 30 seconds. The key also works.This lock is good enough to keep most people honest. But if someone really wants to steal something they could cut through it fairly quickly with the right tools. Good value. The perfect size for something smaller like a scooter.I'm pleased.

My husband and I had one bike lock to rule them all. We usually go cycling together-- but, what happens if we're both out doing our own things? We needed a second one.This lock is good quality, heavy duty, and there are two ways to get it open-- both with a key and with a combo. We have some pretty serious bike theft issues here, so we've actually been doubling up locks to make the bike thieve's lives a living hell. So far so good. So far, the lock appears to be robust and of good quality. Will update with either change or confirmation!

I use this chain lock for my electronic scooter, and it works great! The chain is covered with fabric, which prevents scratches on my scooter—a thoughtful design detail. When not in use, I wrap it around the scooter for easy storage. When needed, I can quickly take it out and secure the wheel.This lock offers the convenience of both combination and key options for locking and unlocking. Personally, I prefer using the combination since I don't like carrying a key around. The build quality is sturdy and feels reliable, making it an excellent deterrent against theft. Overall, it's a fantastic security chain lock for scooters and bikes!

This lock has a nice heft to it and the number keys slot back and forth with a satisfying sturdy click. The chain appears capable of resisting tampering or bypass, though I always worry about units with a key slot getting lockpicked. Still, I feel comfortable leaving my electric scooter locked up in public places for a few hours at a time.The problem is that the chain is a little too short. When I place my electric scooter at a normal public bike stand with a front wheel tray, the chain just barely reaches from the slots to the front wheel's spokes. On the other hand, this makes moving the locked gear a little harder for any potential thief. But my personal preference would be if the chain were maybe 6" longer so there is a little bit more wiggle room.

I should have dug into the specs better before ordering, but when I saw the (tiny) box this showed up in I knew it was lighter duty than anticipated. The locking mechanism feels well built but the gauge of steel used for the chain is comical. I didn’t test the theory but I’d be willing to bet I could cut a link with a good pair of side cutters. Should keep the honest passer bys honest, but I wouldn’t trust anything of value to it.
